Although it is helpful to understand where you live to see if you qualify for local solar incentives, the better determinate is actually your energy provider. It is important to consider two main things about your energy provider when going solar: 1) do they provide net metering (or any type of similar policy to pay the customer back for generating power), and 2) do they offer any local incentives? Texas does not currently offer any state-based incentives, however there are several energy providers all over that offer different incentives for solar energy, wind energy, and even for energy efficiency upgrades such as LED lighting. These rebates and incentives are not guaranteed to every customer, and funding is limited each year. For any questions regarding rebates and local incentives in your area, please schedule a meeting with one of our energy consultants today!

What If My Provider Is Not On This List?
Unfortunately, not every energy provider in Texas provides solar rebates or incentives. If you have one of these providers, the payoff for your solar panels increases substantially, and in many cases is not recommended.
